Info & Training Session with European Commission

On March 20th the LaserBlood team took part in an international training and information event focused on the European Innovation Council (EIC), jointly organized by APRE (Italy’s National Contact Point for Horizon Europe) and its Moldovan counterpart within the framework of the M-HERO project. The initiative aimed to strengthen collaboration and provide targeted support to researchers, startups, and institutions in Moldova in navigating European funding opportunities. The event brought together representatives from the European Commission, national agencies, and innovation stakeholders to share insights on EIC instruments and upcoming calls.

The session provided a comprehensive overview of key EIC funding schemes—including Pathfinder, Transition, and Accelerator—highlighting their role in supporting breakthrough research, technology transfer, and the scaling of deep-tech startups. Contributions from experts and beneficiaries offered practical perspectives on proposal development, evaluation criteria, and project execution. Notably, the program also featured real-world case studies and direct experiences from funded projects, fostering knowledge exchange and capacity building for future applicants across Europe and associated countries.
